Mafer has a long career in theater, having earned several nominations for her performances on stage. She has written, produced and directed three short films focused on her passion to promote strong values and encourage self-reflection through storytelling, which have earned recognition at International film festivals. Mafer is CEO and Founder President of Alder Productions Inc, from where she is dedicated to developing high-quality art projects to promote important humanistic themes.

Mafer is originally from Mexico. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Theater from the “Universidad Veracruzana” where she was awarded with the "Dr. Rafael Lucio”Medal in Academic Merit. Later, Mafer continued her professional training in Film Direction at “La Escuela Veracruzana de Cine Luis Buñuel” and as a Screenwriter at “Escuela Arte 7”.
